Today was a just another great day out on the Trails. It was a bit of a last minute plan, but so happy we got out.
Glad to have had the microspikes on, but they weren’t needed the whole trek. Was mild enough (-2 degrees Celsius) that I had 2 lighter long sleeve layers and a down vest. Even the toque kept needing time to breathe.
Today I hiked in my Keen Rebel IV High Polars, but they were more than I needed. Definitely toasty.
I tracked with my Suunto 9 and it measured us at 867 active calories burned. Not too bad for a Sunday morning before going back to work.
Sadly no beer after the hike today. But I was fed a great tuna melt back at Dean’s place. 🙂
